Since 1998, Yolive implements its sales philosophy by: A network of home-made ice cream shops capable of satisfying a wide and heterogeneous range of consumers, but above all by products that satisfy the requirements of a healthy, balanced and natural diet.
Yolive products, respecting the need of being a health food and therefore capable of bringing health benefits, are functional foods.

 

What are “functional foods”?
Functional foods are tangible evidence of the historical metamorphosis that is taking place around the food theme. Functional foods, apart from their intrinsic nutritional values contained in them offered by carbohydrates, fats and proteins require performing a beneficial effect on human health, maintaining a state of wellbeing or being capable of preventing the onset of determined pathologies.

 

The purpose of “nutritional foods”:

 

Their purpose is to maintain the equilibrium of the intestinal microflora intact by bringing specific selected bacteria called “live probiotic fermentations or probiotic bacteria” capable of passing live through the gastro-intestinal barrier undamaged and colonize inside the colon.

 

The attention of our Research and Development department is above all addressed to corresponding effectively to the actual European indicators in terms of a BALANCED DIET. In fact, a correct diet is based upon a correct proportion and distribution throughout the day of nutritive elements that are indispensible for life.
